OUR PROGRAMS & PROJECTS

ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP

H-Studio have been researching on ways to export South African products to the world and believes in the opportunity to enter the international supply-chain as South African wholesale suppliers. This program promotes creation of sustainable support structures that help promising entrepreneurs in South Africa build innovative internally competitive SMMEs that add and reap the benefits of our international business textile and apparel industry and supply-channel network.

We target existing SMMEs and entrepreneurs with viable fashion industry businesses and bankable business proposals, cooperative and enterprise development practitioners and personnels. These workshops are experimental and has hands-on interactive workshops that screen entrepreneurs and establish competency levels of the participants, to identify those that need assistance in planning and mapping a growth for their enterprise to meet international fashion industry standards.

WOMEN ENTERPRISE COACHING PROGRAM

on developing women’s personal and professional; competence, in response to the challenges women-owned businesses experience within South African clothing production and textile industry. We organize a diverse group of women with different backgrounds in the fashion industry sectors, and have a shared experience in networking, sharing of experience and exchange of information. Our program focuses on providing women-owned enterprises with knowledge, skills and tools needed to grow their business, better their business operations, and advise on their strategic processes, while gaining access to resource necessary to facilitate their business growth.

SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

the performance of supplier entities, through skills and capabilities needed to make them globally competitive. This program raises awareness of opportunities available to supply global buyer bids looking for CMT services. We help assist them reduce the cost of supply as well as help improve growth and diversification through procurement and facilitate localized supply-channels. Our goal for this program is to reduce cost of supply, improve technology, increase productivity and quality, solidify their internal business operations, improve logistics, ensure ethical production in respect to the environmental regulations and create employment opportunities and contributions.

MANUFACTURING SUPPORT PROGRAM

addresses the current challenges, needs, skills and capabilities of South Africa’s Textile and Apparel manufacturing industry, by creating paths that assist SMME manufacturers to be competitive in the national and international apparel & textile supply-chain sector. This program is a 2-year program that opens the door and contributes to the growth of small business within the South African Textile and Apparel manufacturing sector. We focus on their manufacturing process, technology adoption, return and demand, innovation, operational gaps, and assist in taking their business to the next level with our manufacturing support business development interventions that are designed to boost their business’s level of industry competitiveness and capabilities.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

is introduced at an early age for learners leaving high school, where they will be introduced into the concept of starting and running a business within the South African Textile and Apparel industry. The goal for this program is to influence the learner’s mindset by encouraging them to either become job creators within the South African Textile and Apparel industry or learn beginner fashion business skills with the South African apparel manufacturing sector. By creating this program, we equip learners with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to learn and manage a clothing manufactory business, to contribute to the development of the next generation’s fashion industry business entrepreneurs, who are willing to develop South Africa’s product manufacturing and exportation sector.

SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS & INITIATIVES

along with community projects to uplift disadvantaged communities while providing life changing business opportunities through collaboration with brands abroad and local brands, to create awareness outreach products to further practice and communicate fashion sustainability and green trading. Through this initiative project, we support micro businesses financially and non-financially in respect to our collaboration project, and provide SMMEs with mentorship, business tools and support for their business succession. With this initiative, we’re able to create symbiotic business relationships, while simultaneously create a ripple effect of changing lives in South African townships and rural areas with affiliated community projects.
